Ladies and Gentlemen it seems that while I have been traipsing through the streets of Park West, Brickell, and Midtown, the boys (and girls) of South Beach have been throwing down some interesting parties that you may now be aware of and should definitely not go overlooked, especially since everyone knows that the gays throw the best parties!
As I have previously mentioned, Edison Farrow's South Beach Social Club basically redefined gay nightlife since the onslaught of his now famous Traveling Tuesday Martini Party (I mean, even Ewan McGreggor and Jim Carrey know that's where the Gay Elite Meet and Greet). Farrow's "Simple Life" at Buck 15 on Thursday continues to draw the longest waits I have seen at any establishment on the Beach since the glory days. His Happy Hour at Halo is where I'll be this Friday which I can't wait to check out. But, I am most excited about his latest soiree over at one of my favorite stomping grounds, Circa 28, for "Sugar Daddy Sundays.
Speaking of fun Sunday parties, Sunday T at the Palace Bar continues it's long stand of where to enjoy a refreshing highball of tea (staten island, long island, or long beach- your choice), and everyone know what's up, down, and around over at Twist- which it must be said that in the ever fickle world of clubland, Twist has managed to secure the title of the longest running gay club in Miami. Other fun spots to check out are "Hot Mess" at B.E.D. on Thursdays and "Click" at Dek23 on Sundays each of which have given the boys, girls (and everyone in between) something fun!!!

I must say though, if you have a vagina, DON'T GO TO TWIST. Your gays will abandon you and you'll end up getting hit on by the "one straight guy" at the bar. That guy isn't straight, he's either dealing or gay-for-pay, most probably both... and there's no way out, since no one else wants to talk to you except the tweaker who thinks he's bi. He's not, he's gay.
Thanks again, JS.
