I can't figure Gameboy/Gamegirl out. Are they poking fun of hipster culture or are they hipster culture? I mean, they act too-cool-for-school that it's not even that cool. They are fucking with my brain! It's like if Uffie had an orgy with Crystal Castles and they turned around and donkey punched '80s Madonna. So you are either going to love this or hate it. I'm still on the fence.
A little back story on Gameboy/Gamegirl: they are a quartet from Melbourne, Australia, whose most famous member is DJ/producer Miami Horror (who isn't from Miami at all). He's done plenty of remixes for all your favorite indie staples. Also, word is they will be in town in the coming weeks. When? Let's say it will be in a White Room on a Saturday night at the beginning of next month.
