Hey sorry everyone I've been a bit M.I.A. lately, I just moved into my new place so I've been rather busy. Also I've been recovering from a nasty bout with the flu. But anyway, I'm back and that's all that matters.
Today I bring you Santogold, which if you don't know by now she is the new M.I.A. and poised to break it big this year. You could compare her to the Sri Lanka via London sensation, but unlike M.I.A.'s hip-hop based sound, Santogold trips the light fantastic by delving into trip-hop, pop, rock and electronica. If you ask me I think people really just compare them because they are women of color.
