Bristol’s Hope Recordings was born out of Steve Satterthwaite and Leon Alexander’s desire to develop the strong talent 10 years ago out of the city’s prime club Lakota. Whilst some of those artists and connections still thrive the Label has far outgrown its early ideals and has become a perfect mirror to emerging talent on a worldwide scale. Massive Attack Tour DJ & Cream resident and globetrotter Nick Warren has been in the Head of A&R chair for the last eighteen months, ensuring the quality remains at the top level and the signs artists of the highest degree. Albums and Singles are due this year from Way Out west, Hybrid, 16 Bit Lolitas and Chinese superstar Chelxia Chan as well as a few new comers.
