My two friends Jenny and Stephanie were mugged at gun point last night on Kendall Drive and 137th Ave. The suburbs are becoming the new ghettos. Get the hell out while you can.

Or maybe not. Read this post in the LA Times Blog for some interesting commentary on the situation. Be sure to read the user-submitted comments, which are surprisingly enlightened for a public bulletin board in this day and age. I think this pseudo-trend (of suburbia becoming a ghetto) needs a name.
