Everyone’s on the Canadian duo Thunderheist’s tip. Nigerian born Emcee, Isis is the lyrical gem that I would personally love to chit chat with when they make it to Miami (Studio A's new party Misfit Fridays got 'em for Dec. 28th). Isis has been rhyming with the best of them and even made it on “Show Time at the Apollo.” Sounds hectic! And the beat maker/producer is Grahmzilla (great name huh?) who prides the duo’s sound to 80s classic and digital booty bass.
“Suenos Dulces” is the hot traxxx out right now on EVERYONE’s play list. You’ll recognizes the synthetics of 80s pop star’s the Eurythmics looping over this jam. “Sweet Dreams are Made of These….” It’s a fresh blend of old electronic soul with progressive lyrics. However my jam is “Jerk It.” It shows of the duo’s real talent without riding on any 80s coat-tail. Both traxxxss are worthy of a serious dance off any day!
The duo is in heavy rotation touring both North America & Europe…yes Europe. This past few months they did a show in Sweden where they got an ecstatic response that you can read about on their website. Look for them in the future cause word on the blog street is that they don’t even have a full LP out yet or a major label interest (YET) but are getting an overwhelming response from djs and promoters everywhere.
