UPDATED x2: I hope Justice knows

That performing at Ultra Music Festival doesn't constitute a tour stop. I want to see them properly, glowing cross and all. Has anyone heard if they'll be performing outside the confines of Ultra? Their world tour does have a three-day gap between their San Francisco and Los Angeles dates, I imagine set aside for Ultra since they are on the bill. I'll be fucking pissed if Orlando gets to see them intimately and Miami gets fucked by yet another tour -- fuck, a road trip may be necessary in order to guarantee I don't get fucked over (wow, do I say 'fuck' a lot). The curse of living at the end of a peninsula.

RUMOR ALERT: Word is going around that Justice just might stop by Miami after all, which wouldn't be out of the question considering there is a 3-day gap between Orlando and Baltimore. The Filmore Miami Beach is being talked about as a venue. I'll let you know when I have more information. Also, chances of seeing Justice outside of Ultra are slim as Pollstar reports that the very next day they will be in Mexico. Still the possibilty of seeing them twice in a month is a-fucking-mazing!

P.S.: If Justice does come down, it would be a Friday or Saturday. If this is true, promoters need to get to work on booking an after party DJ set by the duo. You know what I mean?

UPDATE: An anonymous, yet very credible source, is saying that Miami will not be getting a separate Justice show. Orlando will be the only Florida stop on the tour. The source also has confirmed that Justice US reps say the rumor is absolutely not true (nail in the coffin). Ultra shelled out to get the French duo on board for Ultra, so there is probably a good chance Ultra wouldn't allow them to perform in Miami a little less than a month prior to the festival. And to this point is its unclear whether or not their Ultra performance will be a live show (with glowing cross , Marshall stacks and the works) or just a DJ set. Regardless, B.A.C. and I have decided we are definitely going to do a O-town road trip in early March. So I'm going to see Justice properly, dammit!

Justice will perform at Club Firestone in Orlando Florida. Tickets are $25 and go on sale at www.ticketweb.com at 12:01 AM this Friday Morning

My sources say Orlando is a stop, an intimate stop.......Sorry Duran but you may have to car pool it to O-Town....

Yea O-Town will be the only intimate stop.

Let me tell you that Club Firestone place is on FIRE with the acts they be bringing. Boys Noize and Bonde Do Role (even though they did cancel) were back to back!
Orlando's central location helps it book good tours, the city or venue has really nothing to do with it. South Florida is logistically really expensive to tour to since once you make your way down you have to go back up, wasting valuable travel time.

Madonna don't make a tour stop in Orlando...

So it's central location ain't all that! ;D
Madonna ain't poor.

LOL

That's for damn sure!
Aside from it's central location I guarantee it's also the fact that the person who throws all the indie/electro parties actively works to bring those acts.....Miami on the other hand can't even fill a Moby event (and he killed it btw).

B.A.C. there are a lot of factors. Again, Orlando is more attractive to a touring artist than South Florida, primarily because of location. And Moby didn't fill up Studio A because no one likes Moby -- harsh but true.

Yep. That right. Orlando is the only tour stop in Florida. Not because of the central location, but because it has a scene, promoters, and a venue that constantly support great progressive acts.

Get it together Miami. Quit being cheap (only coming out for events with a guest list) and apathetic, and you might get some cool stuff too. All the acts want to play in Miami, but they are always whack because no one is willing to spend a little $ to support good content.

For now, gas up that car and come join the party. It will be off the meat rack for sure.

i think a wall of marshall stacks would make a nice impression on peeeps here.
Justice played three freaking times last WMC. I'm pretty sure we can count on a DJ set and/or Ed Banger extravaganza if they are in town.

Not to mention - they make a much better impression with the Marshall stack and giant lit-up cross. I'm pretty freaking glad I'm getting a proper festival set for a mass of people to bug out.
Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?
Excuse me? Justice could EASILY fill up any venue in Miami. M.I.A. sold out Studio A and 99 percent of people who went paid the $27 ticket price and plenty more were standing outside willing to pay to get in. Justice not stopping at Miami is because of two things: location and the fact that they be in town during conference. Had that tour been any other time of year I am certain Justice would have put Miami on the itinerary. My fear is that Justice won't bring the whole tour production to Miami during conference or they might just play at Ultra and not at any of the parties.

Oh and since they were unorthodox shows, Justice played last year at:

- Scion private party with MSTRKRFT
- In Store at Urban Outfitters on the beach.
- Ed Banger party at Studio A

Thankfully I saw Justice last year, so seeing them in the festival format would be welcomed on my end. Something about seeing thousands of kids going ape shit on E...always warms my heart as to the future of our world.

Yea but I don't want to pay $129 to witness that and the Saturday lineup sucking major ass. Here's praying at Ultra sells day passes.
Ghost of Miami Nights Past
Ehhh...saw 'em in NYC and Ultra. Love the album, if they're at Ultra...I'll see 'em again!

I hope Yelle pays a visit this conference!
justeeeeece just djed at shore club for the basel closing party, i gotta say it was a boring set of what has become absolutely monotonous electronic music. i like d.a.n.c.e. as much as the next fanboy but for the cheese these guys make just to dj it's time to step it up a little. i might be the only one who feels that way, but i'm just sayin... the last couple times i've seen them they've been far from mindblowing. light up crosses are cool and all but i like my djs to be more concerned with djing than smoking cigarrettes while djing.

Justice wasn't in town for Basel... if they were I'm gonna need picture proof because I would have heard about it.
