Under the Line Design: LOCAL TOURIST
There’s a new tourist in town. Only this one lives in Los Angeles. Local Tourist is Eric Fobair, a graduate from the University of Oklahoma who recently hit the bricks of LA to make it as a fashion designer. He's certainly on his way. Fobair's inspiration is the women he surrounds himself with – which are mostly his friends. Each girl is sketched, screen printed and immortalized on fabric. Working mainly with soft, cotton, non-American Apparel T-shirts; his cuts are form-fitting and comfortable and each design unique.
Currently, Local Tourist is only available at select California boutiques. But let's hope his designs make their way to Florida soon. Check out his website for more information and drop him a line if you like what you see.
