Ultra Music Festival 2008 Phase 2 announced: Underworld, Moby.

The recently announced Phase II of UMF10 finally gives us non-trance fanatics a reason to go to the unforgivably stagnant day 2 of the fest.

The true headliner of the fest is now the UK's famous Underworld crew. I've personally never seen their show but have heard convincing accounts of it rivaling the greatness of Daft Punk's mind-melting pyramid sets. Also added are Moby, MSTRKRFT, Digitalism, The Crystal Method, etc, etc.

Disappointly, however - the poster confirms two pieces of bad news for those of us looking forward to Justice. Not only will their UMF appearance be a non-lit up cross and Marshall stacks DJ set, but the poster confirms that it'll be their only WMC appearance. It looks like Orlando or bust for those of us who want to see the real show.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Move Calvin Harris to Friday!!! I don't want to go on Saturday ONLY for Harris.

The new editions aren't that exciting. Why oh why must Rabbit In The Moon keep being booked? Isn't everyone over them already. Thumbs up on LA Riots, Digitalism and MSTRKRFT.

Still I DEMAND Ultra organizer move Calvin Harris to Friday.

I have to go to Ultra now. For all of you who haven't seen Underworld live, its worth the $100 bucks. They continue to make amazing music and their light show will rival Daft Punk. Saw them several times, most recently in Central Park, and it was worth every penny. They are some of the pioneers of this whole week of music!

Underworld at Bicentennial, yummmm. Makes up for their last minute venue change in Colorado last year.

I sooooooooo can not believe they moved Harris to Saturday, I had BETTER plans. They knew by doing so those of us who need to buy tickets (excluding me of course) would now have a reason to attend on Saturday. I'll be leaving directly after his show fo sho. Seen Underworld (they are dope), their new album is mediocre to me... so nothing ecstatic about that. All in all, it's the SAME EXACT THING AS PREVIOUS YEARS, except for a few gems here and there.

DEAD @ Enur....."Woot Woot when you won't come around, cuz I know you the talk to the town...YEA!" Ridiculous! LMAO

Now for you organizers of Bang!, here's your chance folks....HERE'S YOUR CHANCE!! Do NOT dissapoint this year....por favor!

Don't cry over Calvin Harris just yet.

Work on getting invited to the Scion party on the Friday of WMC - Harris is headlining with Institubes opening.
Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?

Friday night after Ultra is booked for me....though I could pull some strings and try to make it out.

Where's the Scion party at?? I REALLY don't wanna have to make it to Ultra on Sat.

The Scion party is at the Raleigh. I was suppose to go last year to check out Justice, MSTRKRFT, etc. Instead I was in bed with strep throat. Fun times :(

I am new to this event, but it sounds pretty awesome. I am comming from texas to see it for the whole weekend I am pretty excited, got my room and tickets and everything. I was just wondering when the shows end and what after parties are going on? or what else should I do while I am there?

Both days will end at 12 midnight. Once that happens you will notice an exodus of people going to the downtown area which is about 4 blocks away. Usually the people do to space, nocturnal, studio a and now park west night club. Keep an eye on the site and we will have a "Top 10 WMC parties you can't miss" post.
