Okay, I'll admit it, reality TV is my guilty pleasure. Thank god my life is so busy with work and this site that I've had to cut down on my trashy TV time, but I still have a few shows I just have to watch. One of them being Top Chef. So it was a surprised when I found out yesterday while watching something late night on Bravo that the third season was filmed here in Miami. BOOYAH to Michy's owner Michelle Bernstein who I overheard saying Miami isn't know for its culinary scene. Anyway, Worm-Hole Laboratory is reporting Top Chef is celebrating its Miami season with a little food street fair if you will on Lincoln Road Sunday, June 10. It's being called A Taste of Miami Spice because its giving local restaurants the opportunity to showcase their food for the upcoming Miami Restaurant Month in August. Live in the flesh will be Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio and every-so-sexy host and wife of author Salman Rushdie, Padma Lakshmi. The event will be from noon until 3 p.m. I'm probably going just to get me some Padma lovin'. Oh yea, she's a cookbook author and model too.
