Thursday Thuggin: Yo Gotti - Miami (feat Rick Ross)

I've been a bit discouraged with Miami hiphop of late. Around a year ago everything devolved into the typical d-boy crap with recycled boring beats that didn't really take the art form anywhere in contrast with some earlier 305 music. However, things appear to be picking up: more artists are getting signed, and Rick Ross is flattening the rest of the industry with his new album. One example of this renaissance is this track, Miami by Young Gotti. Take a listen. It goes: "I ain't sold a million records / or won a Grammy / but I've seen a million dollars / worth of nose candy."

Sorry about the abrupt start to the track. I had to trim out Khaled hollering like a retard.

That's not fair, this isn't pophop or whatever you want to call it.
pop lock and drop it
i can see the heads boppin to this in every "open format" establishment up and down sobe and with enough veuve i can see myself doin the same. hey i;m all for giving people what they want... choices are good... ketel or goose, cuervo or patron, veuve or dom... it;s a veritable shmorgasborg of tantilizing, sensory hightening oppotunites... which is so very Miami... so "take me to Miami tonight"
gimme a beat!
I hate khaled!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean, I'm not going to undermine what he's done for the industry. He really did help put 305 on the map. I am just tired of his "we the best" routine.
