The Vagabond opens in 3 days!

The sounds of tools hammering and sawing away can still be heard coming from inside The Vagabond. They just added an exterior mural recently, which I give it a week until some asshole spray paints his graffiti tag over it. Also, my friend and I have decided our nickname for The Vagabond will be The Vag because it sounds dirty and we are 12. We are hoping the name catches on.

The invite-only soft opening is this Thursday, with complimentary open bar from 10 p.m. to midnight.

I don't know how realistic it is getting on the list unless you are in the know. I expect the grand opening to be a who's who of Miami's nightlife scene, especially since Carmel Ophir is behind this project. Entry to guaranteed if you have a paper invite, which is being given out by those who work there, so figure out if you know anyone who does. However, there is always the chance they aren't going to take the "invite-only" thing so serious, so if you show up they might just let you in (I've seen it happen before).

I painted the mural and as a precaution i send a secret message to a couple of "graffiti crews" to PLEASE stay off it.
In general, artwork is fairly respected, but crossing fingers will help.
BTW... the place looks beautiful inside.

Yea I've from everyone. I wanted to get a preview, but then I decided against it. I wanna see it the day it opens so I have no bias to it. I saw it back in like November or something, when it still wasn't anywhere near completed.
