Studio A's new Friday nights

Since the split between Studio A and Revolver I've been curious to know what would be A's next move to fill the slot. Considering the venue has been an indie/hipster beacon since it opened (Revolver and Plastik Fantastik) the thought of something else being there was a little alien at first. But conversations with management at A led us to believe a hip-hop night would be introduced to shake things up. Studio A still has an impressive line up of live acts coming into town so they are not deviating from their live venue mission. This Friday, April 20th, Studio A unveils it's new Friday night party - MILK-N-SUGAR w/ DJ JOHNNY QUEST. The event will be 21+ and from what I can see will have no cover, for the opening at least. It will be a hip-hop, r&b, and old school mix with your usual friendly staff and sexy bartenders. We'll bring you an update on the night when we get a chance to check it out. Until then, if you go let us know what you think.

21+ even for women? that's a shame. 18-21 is the sweetspot for slutty hiphop girls.

are you referring to my beloved chongas?

Check out the "Chongalicious" video... those girls do a fine job of explaining chonga culture.

We've all seen it thanks to you but I was hoping you could explain a little more.

Flyer and A's info page just states 21+. But we all know how flexible nightclub venues can be for pretty, big hoop wearing chicks.
