Unfortunately, due to bad weather conditions in the Northeast, we regret to inform you Aaron LaCrate will not be able to make it down for our party tonight. We hope you still decide to come and celebrate our One Year Anniversary. Luckily we were able to snag DJ Conway as a last minute replacement, and if you've ever heard the man spin, he can basically get your body shaking even if you don't want it to. Armand Pena will also be on hand to play that we-hate-France electro in his first appearance ever at Studio A.
Last but not least, come early to snag some FREE tickets to Bacardi B-Live, tomorrow at Bayfront Park. Doors open at 11 p.m., open bar from 11 until midnight.
We hope to make it up to you by bring LaCrate down some other time, we all know everyone was excited to get to hear that B-more shit.

Love
from what i remember at least!
oh yeah, how did i get home, and why was i wearing nothing but miami nights stickers?
It would have been free if it was up to us, and they were only charge $10 from what I understand.. is that more than normal?
We apologize PROFUSELY. We lost quite a bit of money due to his cancellation - half his fee, his hotel room, his flight. We paid for all of it and got nothing out of it.

If you're going to pretend to be multiple people you could at least switch to a different PC to do it.
O:-)

And if you can't afford $15 to get into a club, which is paltry by most Miami club standards, then stay home or get on someone's list. It was clear from the amount of people in the club, that most weren't in a hurry to leave due to LaCrate's absence.
I paid thousands of dollars to THROW the party with no money coming back for it (and, yes, Aaron needed a deposit just like any other contract - flight cancellation or no), and furthermore if you crawl out from the bridge you live under and watch the news you would see that all airports in the northeast were cancelling flights that day due to a HUGE snowstorm. The JFK webcam was completely whited out. Don't give me that b.s.

Here are some tips so you won't get any disgruntled postings for your next event..
1. If you book a DJ and they cancel, don't charge the same amount for some nobody if you can't get a replacement that is at the same level. (You will have to bite the bullet)
2. If you are promoting the night, don't blame things on the "club". You supposedly have some control if you are bringing them a head count. Blame Josh, as he probably pocketed most of the money that comes in from the door. The club will only worry about the money they make at the bar. If you feel you couldn't do anything about it, quit promoting events. You need to have the ballz to fight for what you want in clubland.
4. Don’t get defensive when people are spewing critique (even unfair critique), take the high road. Do you think McDonalds yells at their customers, even the irate ones? For every smart person that didn't like you, 5 dumb hipsters with bad haircuts will replace them. Defensiveness just isn’t attractive.
As for the night itself…
The women were hot, the music was not. (Revolver’s Djs always make me vomit.) I didn't pay to get in as I was able to be sneaky sneaky on the guest list, but it really wasn't worth the price of admission. ($10.00 - $15.00 should not be the norm for a club, unless it comes with a free blow job or the actual special guest is going to be there.) The VIP area was a joke, if you were on the list you could go inside but your guest would have to wait outside with the other commoners???? Dreadful. I also can’t understand why a night like Revolver has a VIP area? Nobody likes a bougie hipster.
Other than that, you guys look like you were having a good time. Screw everyone else, this was your celebration...not theirs.
Happy Birthday,
Simon
