Rag Trade for sale

Everyone's favorite Design District boutique Rag Trade is for sale. Why? Owner Stephanie Spiegel is moving to Israel to live on an organic farm. Um, yeah. Anywho, its selling for $20,000, but Spiegel would also consider any investors. I know a lot of people who would die if this place ends up closing down, so some please save Rag Trade from extinction.

I leave you with an interview Plum Miami Beach did with Spiegel about two weeks ago. She talks about the store and its vintage goods.

This place actually has some strong fundamentals and really good press coverage. I would be surprised if no one shows up with $20k (a very tiny sum in the scheme of things) to snap this up.

Thanks guys! I hope someone can come thru, I'd hate to have to liquidate and go out of business completely, that would be a bummer! Interest rates are really really low right now, I started the business with an SBA loan myself.. Keeping my fingers crossed.. And don't worry, I'm not leaving for good, just an extended hiatus to chill with some cucumbers and pomegranates :)
