Parcel B, a land grab?

Fred Grimm from the Herald chimes in on the controversial Sydney Opera House Bay of Pigs Museum on Parcel B behind the AAA. As I mentioned before in an earlier post the debate is to turn the fenced out fall out zone to a green space or to build a hulking rectangular parking garage with a museum built around it. Or as Mr. Grimm puts it " a parking garage adorned with a very fancy hat." The piece places the blame on the Miami Heat capitalizing on the hopes of a dying group of veterans who desperately want a location to honor the fallen. It's an interesting read and an angle of the story I hadn't consider. I still don't want a museum on promised green space land, but not only should we be chastising the the Commission for breaking promises, but the Miami Heats "civic inveiglement". It's a good opinion piece, give it a read here
