As I'm sure you have all read, the new years has brought upon us new party's. This is very good news to say the least, considering some staple events have gone on hiatus or have lost their umph. With WMC and Ultra making headlines in the coming months it only makes sense promoters and clubs start bringing in fresh nights and concepts to help capture some of the market the aforementioned events will be bringing. Just ask Duran, he's been all giddy over new party's and clubs over the past week that Lackner and I found him camping and snuggling with the bums outside of The Vagabond already. I know, the kid gets excited easily.
Studio A will FINALLY be starting a new weekly party named Ladies and Eighties. With a small cover, ladies 21+ drink free well all night long. Bottle specials for the boys and ladies include top shelf $150 bottles of goose and Moet (tax and tip included). DJs Captain Awesome and Shredded Beats will be thowing down the eighties. I'm always a proponent of Ladies nights so you might find me spying the scene tonight in a black hoodie, on the rafters with binoculars. This party kicks off tonight. Click here for flyer.
As for the other side of Miami (The Beach), Dream Nightclub is getting into the international act. Starting a new Sunday night soiree dubbed Wildlife. Dream will be importing international DJs for their weekly Sunday night party. Personally, I like it when clubs experiment with new formats and DJ's. Bringing in music styles from across the world can add some flavor to the otherwise mundane nightlife that plagues Miami at times. Not to say the other clubs in Miami suck, but breaking out of the mold is always good in my book. This Sunday dream welcomes French DJ Marc Antona and Berliner Shonky. Both bring heavy techno and house backgrounds to Dream which will make the ex CJ'ers giddy. Click here for flyer.
