New Party: Double Secret Probation Edition

Goodmorning, people of the party variety.

I just wanted to thank everybody that came to Glamour Shots on Wednesday, you had fun, I had fun, we all got along wonderfully. Thanks to Obi for holding it down, and to Danny Daze for spinning like a maniac with two broken fingers. I'd like to take this opportunity to get you acquainted with something new. I know, it was short lived. But that was the plan, so don't cry.

Now the real fun starts. On Wednesday the 17th, the Chelsea Social Club kicks off at Buck15. I don't use the word "different" lightly, unless I'm trying to be polite about someone's sequined sweatervest, so believe me when I say that there will be something different going down.

This is not your usual thug-rave. This is not a thug-rave at all. This is more like a house party. Partially illegal, impromptu, and loaded with togas/ booze /that guy that you find passed out on the bathroom floor a whole day later. Think lots of this and a little bit of that.

Full updates will be disclosed soon. And keep your Halloween open (yes, it falls on a Wednesday), something amazing is going down!

Here you go!

wow. did they go to scott hansen iso50 site for flyer ideas?
this city is full of non educated, plagiarizing, talentless people.

alright, I can see the styling similarities but that's somewhat of a stretch. So I wanted a retro flyer, besides, what's wrong with taking your inspiration from great designers (assuming this designer even did that) I think your comment is out of line. I'm not going to include myself in your idea of non educated, plagiarizing and talentless people.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't most art plagiarized/similar/copies?
I am the eggman
I don't think it's that big of a rip. I'm pretty sure you can find a lot of records from that era with a similar look.

I do agree about Miami being full of plagiarizers though.
pop lock and drop it
wecare, get over it, it's a fucking party flier not a work of art. god people in this city like to bitch about everything.
Ghost of Miami Nights Past
What the hell is wecare crying about? it looks like scott hansen (iso50) has plagiarized from (*read "was inspired by")artists like m.c. esher, stanley mouse and alton kelley.
Besides a similar "genre" style and color usage, I see very little that would construed plagiarism.
I'll give wecare the benefit of the doubt though, maybe wecare isn't aware of the meaning of the word Plagiarism
I think the "S" design was copied from the Star Wars logo. And the jukebox from Happy Days. And Contra's name from the Nintendo game.
