Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim

Let me start off by questioning the title of this post. Doesn't it seem odd? Fashion Week Swim? I know, it's the fashion week for swim wear. But wouldn't 'Fashion Week Swim Wear' have sounded better? Oh well who honestly gives a shit. Next week from July 18-21 at the Raleigh Hotel models will be strutting their stuff in designer bikinis and one pieces for those lucky enough to get the invite to this invitation only event. We would love to attend but unfortunately there is a $90 press fee and that cuts deeply into our "would rather be inebriated having fun elsewhere than the beach" budget. Not to mention were in the red already this month due to terrible accounting on Lackners part.

Just so you know how ueber this event is gonna be, the Herald has heard rumors that the fashion week is expecting the likes of Brooke Hogan, the painfully talentless big boned blond, D list elites the Kardahsians and Miami Nights favorite carpet munching crack whore Lindsey Lohan. Sounds like its going to be a smashing event! If any of our loyal readers goes and cares to share some deetz feel free to comment.

I was at the Diesel store yesterday and they gave me an invite for the opening fashion show and after party. Take that budget cuts!!

diesel's show and party was like evry other bs 'vip' event in miami. i walked right past security, thru the lobby, past more security, past some server pushing pink cosmos, and stepped up to the bar. In attendance was a who's who of has beens. The good girl model from 8th & ocean, the homo (not derogatory just fact) photog from real world something, a bunch of cougars who prolly used to be 'models', and of course 'models' galore....its ok if you just threw up in your mouth a little. the show was hella fast. tiyana taylor sucked. what was she here for? they actually had kids done up and strutting in diesel swim. not cute. a lil creepy. after party was lame....except for the beer pong and beer bongs. watched one of white rooms finest bar chicas bong a beer. awesome! chester (who?) sucked. the photogs were capturing it all. google that shit and youll see pics of nothing but fake ass miami. after party @ mokai made we wish i had gone to florida room. apparently i missed an amazig show. that my friends is why i love to hate miami. even a cool brand like diesel loses their mind and buys into the plastic fantastic when they come to miami.
