Local Funk Friday

Nada Surf is the kind of band you'd listen to after breaking up with a significant other, finding out your credit score is in the gutter, or after just receiving a parking ticket. I highly suggest anyone who is in a similar situation to see them at Studio A on June 2 to know that no, you are not alone. Tickets are $15 through Ticketmaster and it's another one of those early all ages shows, but don't mind the children, they have feelings just like you.

The music video for their song "Always Love" is after the jump.

Also, I'm really excited about Worthy playing at The Vagabond tonight. The track I've included below is a song that was stuck in the back of my head for three months after hearing it in a set. Needless to say, when I found it I was quite the gleeful boy. The killer is the lead synth line that kicks in around the middle of the song. As a bonus after I've included the recently released video for "Work the Walls" which shows a typical pre-game session for you ladies after you put on your American Apparel fluorescent leggings and get ready for da club.

I'm soooo upset I didn't look at this page sooner. I just listened to that song Les Tard by Worthy, and just feel in love. They fucking own. Great track, I hope they come back.
