How was it... I was cling on to life after Friday night.
gimme a beat!
Well my love affair with house has been really sour for the past year or two.. but this guy killed it!!! Played all the classics. Everyone was doing amens and old black dudes were breakdancing. Really, really fun.
pop lock and drop it
Well, guys, Louie came, saw and conquered!!!

It was one of the most amazing nights since we have opened...If you were there, it was memorable from start to finish...If you weren't, then I guess you're just going to have to keep hearing about it.....
killed it? no...no...he MURDERED it. they should have sent him over to the clink down the street. classic free-ultra nate and plastic dreams jaydee. SERIOUSLY. i haven't heard house like that since (WMC). the energy was incredible, because the people are so d@mn cool and the music was off the hook. AND the venue is groove jet resurrected! YYYYEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! we need (at least) a quarterly louie showing here. long live house--no haters and no radio players.
no signature necessary
Anyone have a track listing for that show? Easy to spot all the tracks but I was drifting in and out of the room all night.
pop lock and drop it
Of course!!! Note to self: do not miss ever again.

whaaa! so wish that i'd gone louie lost it for me the last couple of times i've heard him. i think spaces like crobar are more suited to subliminalesque sets, not the warmth that makes louie so special. the intimacy of vagabond must have lent itself PERFECTLY to a sweet old school house set from louie. i totally concur on the groove jet feel of the space. i will not miss it the next time. hint, hint carmel.
It was an incredible night. It was prolly the most crowded since the soft opening and Vega played all the goodies. Keep bringing in acts like Vega and Vagabond will be the spot to be for internTional djs
I am the eggman
