In times like these..

In times like these, it's nice to know that you can rely on the NOAA website to be down. I mean it's not like they could have known that people would be checking the site often. They didn't have many days of warning, this hurricane came out of nowhere! This is like Amazon saying "whuuuu? how could we have known it's Christmas?" I guess if they can't give an accurate forecast there's no reason to expect them to understand how to run a website either.

Wow, I am so bitchy.

Update: I managed to get through and get a copy of the cone. Here's my local copy.

Maybe I should see it as fate that I chose not to join that shitty company in Sarasota and move there. Fay's projected path goes right over that dump. The last time I was in the direct path of a hurricane was during Andrew.

yes lobs and globs of it. I am now watching "Flashdance" and prepping my Ode to Irene Cara/ Jennifer Beal to do the stripper water seizure dance in the Patio tonight. I am still trying to figure out how to incorporate the fan though.
