What so happy about Happy Hour? Well possibly all the liquor being dispensed at outrageously good prices that we rarely see in Miami. Honestly, I'm considering going over to my local liquor store, stocking up on the usuals and having people stop by my place and charging them $15 for a vodka-whatever served in a 4-ounce plastic cup. I'm thinking of calling it Duran's Dungeon, but I'm thinking people might think its some S&M club. Yea, I "technically" need a liquor license, but what the city don't know won't hurt 'em.
Anyway, to the point of this post. Those krazy kids over at TalkNightlife.com are hosting South Beach happy hour at the Shelborne. They are calling it an "after work mixer," but that's just a fancy way of saying "drink until you forget how much you hate your job and so you can feel horny when you get home, because, face it, your lover no longer arouses you." But I'm guessing that's a little too wordy for a flier. The 2-for-1 drinks are sponsored by Presidente, Pit Bull energy drink, and SKYY Vodka, with music provided by Tony Santana and Junior O.
