Girl Talk @ Studio A UPDATED
Girl Talk is coming to town! Who is Girl Talk you say? Well, I'm not talking about that '80s nostalgic board game for pre-teen girls. Girl Talk is the stage name for Pittsburg DJ Gregg Gillis, who takes the mashup genre to experimental extremes. See while most mashups consists of two songs being stitched together through a common beat, Gillis mashups over 10 different song samples in the span of two minutes.
I've peaked your interest, no? Well, Gillis will be stopping by Studio A Saturday, February 2 along with Grand Buffet and Skymall to bring us his experimental goodness. Tickets are $17 if you order them in advance, and $20 at the door.

UPDATE: According to Stereohype, advance tickets for Saturday's show are SOLD OUT. Don't cry!
