Friday fumble: SebastiAn - Dog

Is electro going to meld with grindcore deathmetal chaos? This track, brought to my attention by our faithful, well-traveled reader SouthPointE, is quite a surprise:

Its very annoying wk
its complete and utter crap. i listened to the Ed Banger Vol3 cd yesterday and was thoroughly unimpressed (except for the Busy P/Murs collaboration).

But that song, dog, is really just nerve wracking.
I am the eggman
reminds me of when i used to play guitar in hardcore screamo bands in the begg. of high school. so it hits a little part of my heart i can vibe to.
ewww... screamo, as if emo music couldnt get any worse.

if you like that kind of stuff check out EdBangerRecords. crazy shit. http://www.myspace.com/edbangerrecords
This kind of music has to evolve somewhere. Not a bad example - I hope it doesn't all sound like this but it's still an interesting place to take French electro. Reminds me a bit of that new Justice track from that album.

I suspect this song could provide some pretty interesting crossover success.
Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?
Bryan and I were commenting on that.. it's really really cool that he's pushing the envelope, BUT I think he pushed it a bit too far on this track. Babysteps! Overall I'm noticing that a lot of new electro is very.. what's the word.. out there. Almost unmelodic and bombastic compared to earlier stuff that was just house with a different drum and synth.
