Farmer's tans be gone!

skin cancer is a good thing While I tend to think me and Miami have a love/hate relationship, this weekend I was definitely feeling the hate. The weekend highlights for me included; getting into a fender bender, getting asked to pay $20 to get into a BAR, and walking from 12th Street to 23rd because I could not get a cab if my life depended on it. This Super Bowl gig was anything but super. Anyhoot, I'm glad it's over. It gives me a sense of relief to know that I can go out without having to worry about running into someone with a farmer's tans of Oakleys on their face. Tuesday night I will be at Chakra for the Sixth Year Anniversary Party of Martini Tuesdays. The anniversary party will be sponsored by Roth Vodka, Fever USA and Kiehl's. Pangea Band, featuring lead vocalist Christina Sichta, will be performing for this event. Chakra is the club, restaurant and lounge that was formerly Billboard Live and Barton G. 1501. Young readers please note: The crowd is a little mature for these kind of events (28-35 y/o), but with since you don't have to pay to get in, you have nothing to lose. Not only is it free admission, but there will also be complimentary Roth Fever Martinis 9 to 10 p.m. Sounds good to me.
