Breaking: Drive by shooting outside Club Space

I just heard about this in the morning and got confirmation from the Herald site that there was indeed an drive by shooting early Monday morning. The reports mention an argument that took place outside the club at 4am Monday morning with one of the arguers leaving. A few moments later a car drove by and opened fire on the crowd outside. A group of men who had been inside the club began arguing outside the building about 4 a.m., said Kenia Alfonso, a Miami police spokeswoman. The men left.

Minutes later, a car drove by and someone in the car opened fire on the crowd. A club bouncer was among the injured. It is not known if he was the intended target. Police do not have a description of the vehicle or the shooter.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS.

Another witness described what occurred inside the venue. "The dude had bumped the dude, about a drink and then the dude, he said, 'Oh, you don't know me.' He had all type of guns outside," said the witness.

Winter Party had Cameo booked for their event, so the normal Cameo Sunday hip hop party moved to Space for one night only.

One of the bouncers took two rounds but he's alright and already out of the hospital.
