Boom Boom Room earns its name via drive-by

Someone was shot this weekend during a drive-by at The Boom Boom Room:

So I'm chillin at Boom Boom Room tonight listening to some amazing music by Danyelino and his crew and BANG... kid playing pool is doubled over like he has a bad cramp. Bouncer comes over to him and lays him down on the couch.
 
Kid got shot in the back and there's a bullethole in the window... DRIVE BY! Bouncer swears it was the two mexican dudes he kicked out just 30 minutes earlier.
 
Good thing my girl was there and she's a doctor. Nobody knew what to do and the guy was going into shock. She held his wound til the ambulance came and the kid is going to make it. She's in the shower now getting that bloody iron smell off her.

The Hurled is confirming it. That just goes to show, don't step to a true g. South Beach may be a gigantic, tourist-snuffing ghetto, but isn't the real message here that Danyelino was playing some amazing music?

See that's why I like the mainland... at least you know its dangerous. Miami Beach wants you to believe your safe and boom (no pun intended) your shot. I'll take crazy crack addicts over stupid thugs on the beach any day.

South Beach as a whole is the new Metropolis.

My regards do go to the kid who was shot. I'm glad to
hear he's going to pull through but bullshit like that
just makes me think twice about Miami sometimes....

Maybe they can replace the front windows with bulletproof glass like at the bank or lemonade stands in Hialeah.

The KFC on 7th and 36th St. That place is ready for a fire fight with Iraqi insurgents. The fryers double as mortars.
