Not so long ago, in the days of Salvation and Amnesia, Shelley Novak reigned on high with her 5 o'clock shadow, Midler-esque hair, and fashion backwards taste. Whether it was comps at the door, or drink tickets inside, she always (ALWAYS) made sure my friends and I had a great time. Who could forget the days of Shelly on the short lived WAMI channel's "Kenneth's Frequency"? Well ladies and gents, if you haven't been back on the beach in sometime, allow me to say that Shelley Novak is back and in full effect. Fresh off hosting the closing party at Laundry Bar (another sign that all good things eventually come to an end on South Beach) Miss Novak and one of my fav hangouts on Lincoln Rd, Halo, are coming together for "Betty Ford Bingo" every Wednesday night (did I mention it's half-price drinks?)
