Alcohol and cocaine most common in dead bodies

According to a report for Tallahassee, alcohol, cocaine and tranquilizers are the three most commonly found substances in the dead. The Miami Herald reports more than 7,700 died in Florida last year with some sort of drug in their system. Here's the drug break down:

Alcohol was the most common substance found, present in 3,698 bodies. Next to that was cocaine, found in 2,052 bodies and tranquilizers, such as Xanax or Valium, found in 1,987 people who died.

Nice. I wonder how many were from Miami?

Seems like a weak cry at "why drugs are bad" by the government. SO what if they found coke or tranqs in the body. FOr all we know that person might have eaten a dollar bill.

I may be daft, but how many bodies were autopsied, if 7,700+ had drugs? I mean isn't that the most important number here - the % found w/ it in their system? Without that what's the purpose of the article?

On top of the previous mentioned, let's really dissect these stats...
1. What percentage where tourists?
2. What percentage where College students?
3. What is the percentage of people that had more than one type of drug in their system, and where those people counted as a separate group, or like republicans did their body count as more than one vote (Hang that Chad boy!)
4. When utilizing the data what was the margin of error?
5. When looking at the population of deceased how many of them had prescriptions for the drugs they where on?
6. What was the margin of error for false positives?
7. Take a good long hard look at those numbers and notice nobody died of pot! and yet its still not legal for medicinal purposes, however two of the drugs on that list are prescribed, and used recreationally by a large number of the young adult population
8. What was the demographic of the sample base, did all these people come from the same club, or are we talking about a bunch of Ybor City rats?
9. Lastly and most importantly, I'd love to know how many of these people knew on any level a member of the MN staff in any way... biblical or social lol
