Black Lipstick moves to Set this Thursday (Updated)

As a result of The Mark's untimely closure, Josh Menendez' long-running indie party Black Lipstick is relocating to Set Nightclub. This Thursday (8/23) will be the first night, and to ring in the new venue the always-decadent Bronques from Last Nights Party will be hosting the affair. Ladies of ill repute: this means wear your good panties.

Can the usual Black Lipstick customers afford to slam down cocktails at Set's usual prices of $10 - 15 a piece? That remains to be seen, but I think this will be an interesting experiment in taking the usual sound and style of the indie scene up to the next income bracket.

Set Nightclub is located at 320 Lincoln Road on South Beach (Miami Beach, FL). Door can be very selective. Get there before 12 to avoid a long wait.

Update: No more Bronques - rescheduled. Ladies, don't worry about wearing underwear.
